Privacy Policy

Effective June 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tim L. Cooley (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the websites, applications, and tools at timlcooley.com and its subdomains (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account & contact information — such as your name and email address when you create an account or contact us.
  • Content you create — brand profiles, posts, drafts, schedules, and other content you submit or generate.
  • Connected-account data — when you link a third-party account (e.g., a social platform via OAuth, or financial accounts via Plaid), we receive access tokens and the data needed to provide the feature you requested (such as your handle, account balances, or transactions).
  • Usage & device data — basic technical information such as log data, approximate location, and analytics about how the Service is used.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
  • To perform actions you request, such as generating content or publishing to a connected platform.
  • To display your financial or account data back to you within the tools you use.
  • To communicate with you about the Service, including support and important notices.
  • To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: (a) with third-party service providers that help us operate the Service (see below); (b) with platforms you explicitly connect, to perform the actions you request; (c) when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and (d) in connection with a business transfer.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted providers to run the Service, each with its own privacy practices, including: Plaid (financial account connections), TikTok and other social platforms (content publishing), Supabase (database & auth), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), Twilio (SMS), and Anthropic (AI features). We share only what is necessary for each provider to perform its function.

5. Connected Financial & Social Accounts

When you connect an account, we store access tokens securely and use them solely to provide the features you requested. You can disconnect a connected account at any time from within the Service, which revokes our ongoing access. Data already retrieved may remain until deleted as described below.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described in “Your Rights.”

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
